Who Are We?
We are the Janssen Biologics BU2 Maintenance team, and our team is taking care for the production assets of the Vaccin Lauch Facility plant. We are improving the reliability of our installations, facilities and buildings located at our site in Leiden. Many parties are involved, both internally and externally, in our core tasks. Safeguarding the health and safety of our patients, our employees and our environment is an important spearhead of the BU2 maintenance team.
What is the Job
As an (associate) maintenance engineer you are responsible to prioritize the work orders (corrective and preventive) and will also request and rationalize the budget request for OPEX expenses.
Together with the asset/equipment owner you will be responsible for the multi-year asset replacement plan (LCM). And also, on defining and execution of the maintenance strategy. This strategy must contribute to growing reliability while seeking a balance with maintenance costs.
You will take the lead in organizing and managing contractor parties and a dedicated team of mechanics/technicians in order to tackle the day-to-day maintenance challenges. All while keeping Safety, Compliance and GMP standards in high regard.
The introduction of new equipment also offers you the chance to participate in (inter-) site projects and global J&J initiatives. When working in projects you will be exposed to many different nationalities which are part of the Janssen Biologics family, and you will be coordinating your strategy with other sites around the world.
Wie zijn wij
Wij zijn het onderhoudsteam van Janssen Biologics, en ons team zorgt voor de productiemiddelen van de Janssen Biologics productiefaciliteit. Wij verbeteren de betrouwbaarheid van onze installaties, faciliteiten en gebouwen op onze site in Leiden. Veel partijen zijn betrokken, zowel intern als extern, bij onze kerntaken. Het waarborgen van de gezondheid en veiligheid van onze patiënten, onze medewerkers en onze omgeving is een belangrijk speerpunt van het onderhoudsteam.
Naast onze productiefaciliteit in Leiden wordt er momenteel gebouwd aan een nieuwe Janssen Supply Chain Lentiviral Vector (LVV) productiefaciliteit in Sassenheim, Nederland, die zal worden georganiseerd als een nieuwe business unit voor Janssen Biologics (JBV). Deze productiefaciliteit voor biologische geneesmiddelen moet een belangrijke leveringsoptie worden voor commerciële LVV ter ondersteuning van het wereldwijde Janssen BCMA CAR-T-programma voor multipel myeloom, een ziekte die jaarlijks ongeveer 160.000 patiënten treft.
Wat is de functie
Als (associate) onderhoudsengineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het prioriteren van de werkorders (correctief en preventief) en zal je ook de budgetaanvraag voor OPEX uitgaven aanvragen en rationaliseren.
Samen met de asset/installatie eigenaar ben je verantwoordelijk voor het meerjarig asset vervangingsplan (LCM). En ook voor het bepalen en uitvoeren van de onderhoudsstrategie. Deze strategie moet bijdragen aan de groei van de betrouwbaarheid en tegelijkertijd in balans zijn met de onderhoudskosten.
Je neemt het voortouw in het organiseren en aansturen van contractor partijen en een toegewijd team van monteurs/technici om de dagelijkse onderhoudsuitdagingen aan te gaan. Dit alles met inachtneming van de veiligheids-, compliance- en GMP-normen.
De introductie van nieuwe apparatuur bied je ook de kans om deel te nemen aan (interne-) site projecten en wereldwijde J&J initiatieven. Bij het werken in projecten kom je in contact met veel verschillende nationaliteiten die deel uitmaken van de Janssen Biologics-familie, en stem je je strategie af met andere sites over de hele wereld

Waar zijn wij naar opzoek
